- Portable PGP (top)
(Link to a site over which we have no control) - Portable PGP is a fully featured, lightweight, java based, open source PGP tool. It allows you to encrypt, decrypt, sign and verify text and files with a simple and easy graphical interface. Although simple to use it still provides everything you need to get started with PGP cryptography.
- MySQL (top)
(Link to a site over which we have no control) - SQLyog - free MySQL management tool. The Paid for Enterprise version is well worth the licence fee too.
- FTP (top)

- Telnet and SSH (top)
(Link to a site over which we have no control) - PuTTY - free Telnet and SSH client for shell access etc.
- PHP Integrated Development Environment (IDE) (top)
(Link to a site over which we have no control) - PhpED Standard is not free (a little over $100) but it is very well featured and the best IDE we've used.
- Source Code Management (SCM) (top)
(Link to a site over which we have no control) - We use SCM Anywhere Hosted from Dynamsoft and reckon you can't beat it.

(Link to a site over which we have no control) - DiskDigger - we use this product to recover files and it works flawlessly and covers all types of drives.
